Captain Kidd's Buffet

This place is dirty. Should have had red flags being across the street from Disney and it was dead inside. First five plates I pulled out had food all over them. Food was nasty I think my six year old could cook better.

Good food, lots of it, and friendly staff, very inexpensive. Morning meals were free. Came with the rooms next door. All you could eat. Great way to stay the day at Disneyland.

If you're wanting something cheaper than Disneyland food, but not too far away to take too much time out of your trip, Captain Kidd's is the place to go. It's definitely the best bang for your buck in the area. Stay away from the soups and mayonnaise!!

This place is right across disney land . We decided to give it a try because the breakfast buffet price was so much cheaper than any other place nearby. They had fruit meat eggs and cereal. It's a very nice place with fun decorations. They have a small staff and didn't have all the items out but what was out was good. I think this is a great option it's better than just buying fast food because you get all you can eat and for 11 dollars plus 3 dollars for drink. Not bad . Try it .

I love this place. It is my must stop buffet when at Disneyland. Food isn't always the best..but today was full beef ribs..bbq and smoked..totally awesome and cooked as I would.

Cold food, the ribs were extremely dry, the coffee cake was old and hard as a rock, also the other cake dessert was full of red I want to say jam? that was not even there, I don't know how that "jam" got into the cake to be honest. This place is the definition of TV dinner food, tasted microwaved and bland. The decoration is really taky as well we where expecting a pirate theme restaurant when instead it was full of different things all put together. Do not recommend.

In terms of of ' you get what paid for' this is applicable here. The whole place is in dire need of updating...I haven't seen melmac plates since i was a kid...and thats a looong time ago. Food was old and dry, looking like it had been sitting in buffet trays for hours. Food was tasteless.

The only thing good here was the beer. It's not the best beer, but it was better than the food. I hope I don't get sick. Nothing they serve is up to temp. At least you get two options: soggy and salty, or dry and bland. I'd give a one star, but the beer is cheap and the staff seems nice.

I am so mad here are the reasons 1. All the food is mixed around 2. The staff is rude. 3. Overpriced 4.The food is disgusting 5. And last False advertising. Here is what it shows and what I actually had to get because it was disgusting. That is not Carne Asada meat that is taco bell meat.

Captain Kidds Family RestaurantAs long as you go to Captain Kidd’s knowing what to expect you should have an enjoyable experience. This is NOT a five star buffet. This is a budget buffet and the quality and taste are reflected in that price. Nothing is bad, but you also shouldn’t expect anything to be of gourmet quality either. I think they do a job offering a wide mix of food for a reasonable price. Service is usually decent but again, don’t expect the 5 star experience.

I would eat cautiously here. Food is pretty bland and cheap. It looks like all the food is prepared in the same pot. Good chance there at a lot of food violations here. Was not expecting much in the first place and they met those expectations. The orange chicken tasted good and the peaches were... peaches. Oh the fries were good too. Cant go wrong with those. Pizza was put under a lid that was put on top of other food. Kind just thrown in there. Kinda queasy right now. Good thing I will walk this off today at Disneyland. Location is super easy to get to across from Disney.

Greatest food my family has ever had! The dog they sold was exquisite! It was like eating at a 3 michelin star restaurant. The fact they are so cheap floors me! The fried dog was insanely good. Definitely eat here if you want a great experience with your kids at disneyland.

I can not honestly give them 1 star because my family did not actually eat the food. As with every review it begins as a 5 star.. they lose 1 star for asking for prepayment, they lose 1 more for the cleanliness and smell of the place, and they lose a third because a group of customers leaving said we would be making the right choice by leaving and going elsewhere. Who knows though maybe the food is a miracle and we missed out on a gem - but we highly doubt it

Inexpensive place for kids to eat. But the food was horrible. Dry, looked dirty, and not many options.

DON'T! DON'T EAT HERE EVER!Everything you eat here is literally the frozen food aisle warmed up. Disgusting. The worst buffet I've ever had. More worth 5 per person than 15, and even then I wouldn't come. It tastes like they warmed it 2 days ago and left it under a heat lamp since then. It's too bad this place probably won't go out of business because of location, because they deserve no one's time or money.

TOURIST TRAP!!!! Expensive for terrible food. Everything looked like it had been sitting untouched for days, food selection was slim for the price, and even the desserts that they toss out doesnt taste right let alone come out correctly.

Worst Buffet that I've ever dined in. Not everything was ready. I came in with low expectations and left even more disappointed. Don't waste your money.

DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES! Do not enter, I can not express how much you should just go anywhere else. The food seems to be a week old, cooked in the same microwave, and it’s not even Pirate(y)... I am actually writing this from the bathroom of the place, I’m actually sick and I eat anything! Ye be warned...

I should have taken the reviews more seriously. Horrible buffet experience. Most of food was not out when we arrived. Someone had to let the server know this. Food was mediocre at best. My kids commented “we don’t need to eat here again”. And when we talked to the restaurant manager his comment was “we didn’t expect so many people”. Really? You’re right across the street from Disneyland and it was a holiday. Not impressed.

Great variety of food for a relatively cheap price. I adored the sausage chunks and hashbrowns.Only thing I would avoid is the quesadillas, which are just wrap and thin cheese. Breakfast filled us up to the point of not needing anything else for the day.

A fair selection of food for the buffet but needs more improvement on cleanliness. It also provides breakfast for Best Western guests.
